Video chatting is really cool. I will soon have a good reason to try video chat with Mom moving to PA. She has a new laptop & I just picture us using Skype. I had originally thought that when Steve had a business trip to Ireland we would have to use Skype to communicate-- but they had access to a landline phone. As for ACL I guess tutorials would be a possibility.

What did you search for? What kind of results did you get? How hard was
it to find a relevant result? Who was responsible for writing the top
results in each search (could you even tell)? What options did the two
give you for other relevant searches? Which results would ultimately
provide a patron with more valuable information? (Is the last one a
trick question?)
Well we cleaned the dust off the Wii (a Santa gift several years ago) and started playing it again. These things are a lot of fun. btw I am now bowling pro. That is the only game I can beat anyone. Don't even let me attempt Golf. So... I am wondering can this thing really help me lose weight or at least become more fit? I found the answer-- YES! As a matter of fact a study showed that if you do this thing 30 min a day for a year you can lose over 27 lbs. It was very easy to find relevant results. (Not the case for more difficult topics) There were a lot of personal experiences, magazine contributors, etc. Of course, like with everything, you find discrepancies. Another reference on FinditVA says "So in other words, don't count on virtual sports for real-world weight loss." What a bummer... guess you gotta believe who & what you want to believe. FinditVA is a good resource that I admit I do not turn to nearly enough. I will definitely try to utilize it more often.

Well we are on week 2 already. Subject: lifelong learning. Responses for the listed questions follow:
"Which benefits have you experienced when you take on the challenge of something new?" The first thing that comes to mind is the sense of accomplishment you feel. What a wonderful feeling.
"Which habits are easiest for you?" Being willing to change and trying new things. It all started in the mind. What a boring world it would be if nothing changed. In my opinion for people that find it difficult to adjust to change and/or learn new things it boils down to feelings of fear and incapability. Hard for people to admit their weakness. It is beneficial that I am patient, organized, and know how prioritize.
"Which ones do you employ as you learn?" 1 Bible verse need-- short & sweet-- no more words needed-- "I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME" Philippians 4:13
"Are there any that seem hard or challenging to you?" Without a doubt the hardest part for me is finding time to learn something new.
